Happy Birthday Colton!

Colton turned TWO on the 21st of September (yes I know I am way behind). I can't believe my little boy isn't so little anymore. He is growing up so fast and amazes me with everything new he learns everyday. We went to the Dr for his annual checkup and he is right on track. His stats are Weight: 27.5 50th percentile Height: 50th percentile. He is talking more and more and can defintiley let you know what he wants and when he wants it. Some of his favorite things are Barney, "melmo", playing baseball, playing with anyone and everyone's toes and feet, anything that involves outdoors, football, coloring, reading, playing hide and seek (more the hiding part), being Grandpas helper, and dancing among other things. He is all boy and is very active. He is very rarely sitting still. Some of my favorite things he says are "hiya momma", "hide hide hide", "ta-ta", "I wanna osicle", "I did it!"

I feel so lucky and very blessed to be this child's mom. I can't imagine (and don't want too) where my life would be without him. He is my buddy and best friend. I love spending time with him and getting to know him while watching him grow.

Two Year Photos

We went to Fotofly in Draper to get Coltons pictures taken this year. I think they did a GREAT job and I love the way they turned out!

Here are some of my favorites

Lambert Family Campout

We went with the Lambert side of the family over Labor day to a camp out. It was a lot of fun! Colton loved playing with Rhiannon and Eisley all weekend. He was just so happy to be sleeping in a tent and playing in the dirt for four days. It was good to spend time with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who I don't get to spend time with often.
Once again probably too many pictures...

Lewis Family Reunion

We went to Anderson Cove in Ogden for our annual family reunion with Terry's Lewis side of his family in the middle of August. We always have the BEST time at these reunions. They are some of the most fun and best people you could ever know. I'm excited for Colton to grow up going to them and having as many good memories as I do. It's funny that we go to Lewis reunions and aren't blood related but are the only people there with the last name Lewis...
We had a great time! It was the perfect place for the little kids. All we had to do was walk down a little hill and there was a big beach for the kids (and grownups) to play. Colton loved playing with Lucas and all the other kids there. I'm going to let all the pictures tell the rest of the stories...

Who am I Sir?

A UTAH man am I!!!!!

Yesterday was the opening game for the 2010 University of Utah football season. I have been counting down for the last three weeks. We started the day off by tailgating and enjoying the nice hot day. Colton loved being outside for the whole day. We walked over to the game and watched the players warm up. Colton was mesmerized watching "ball" and wouldn't look anywhere but the field. As they started playing the introduction video and playing the music my hands started shaking I was so excited! We screamed, clapped, cheered and sang the fight song as the players ran out to start off their season. Colton loves clapping to the fight song and knows to say "O UES!" (go utes) at the end. The game was a great one! It ended up going into overtime and I haven't heard the crowd this loud in a long time. It was so much fun to be there with the energy and the excitement. It also helped that we WON 27-24 thanks to a FANTASTIC interception and a great field goal. It was a great start to what I'm sure will be a GREAT "farewell tour" season.

Colton was so tired at the end he couldn't keep his eyes open despite me (and everyone else) screaming as loud as we could. He was such a good boy the whole game

**side note: the best sign of the game was "Hey INDEPENDENCE, Nobody Likes You!!"**
