Happiest Day on Earth! Day Three

I am shocked I am saying this but three days at Disneyland just isn't enough. There was still so much we wanted to see and do that we just weren't going to have time for :( We went into day three knowing what rides we wanted to make sure to do. We got to hit the Peter Pan ride (one of my new favorites) Finding Nemo, some went to Star Tours while we took the little kids to the Jungle Cruise since Colton slept through it the night before and I knew he would love it. As soon as we did those rides we headed back over to California Adventure. We rode the new Little Mermaid ride (another of my new favorites), ate lunch, rode Toy Story Mania which Colton LOVED! I kept trying to ask him if he was having fun but he wouldn't take his eyes off the screen and just kept shooting his gun with determination. I wish I had got a picture because it is hands down one of my favorite moments with him on this trip. Colton also wanted to go back on the big Ferris Wheel and decided we wanted to do a spinning car. I was worried he would be scared but boy was I wrong. He laughed so hard every time we started rocking back and forth and thought it was so fun. We went and spent some more time over at Bug's Land and let Colton play in the splash pad area and drive the bumper cars. Then it was time to go to dinner. We went to Tortilla Joe's in Downtown Disney which was pretty good. Thanks to Shamie for finding the restaurant and making reservations before hand. After dinner we headed back to California Adventure to see the World of Color. While waiting Colton kept telling me that his tummy hurts. He never says this unless he has to throw up so I knew it probably wasn't a good idea to stay sitting in the middle of a big crowd especially since we still had about 30 more minutes for the show to start. Luckily I had been a nice mom that day and took a stroller for him so I packed us up and we with my parents decided to leave. Luckily that was a smart decision since about half way to the exit of the parks Colton decided to throw up all over himself, the stroller and sidewalk. I am sure that was a humorous site for people to see as I was scrambling to find wipes and my mom was emptying bags that had souvenirs in them to help wipe up puke everywhere. My step dad made the comment that I should take a picture with the caption "Disneyland: The End." It really did sum it up. Colton fell right to sleep after that and we hurried back to the hotel where he woke up just enough for a quick two minute shower and then he was right back to sleep. Thank goodness he slept through the night and was perfectly fine the next morning.

Colton is obsessed with taking pictures with our tongues out. I usually have to compromise and take one sticking our tongues out before he will smile for one.

Side Note: The whole trip all I wanted was a picture of Colton with Mickey in his classic outfit. By the end of day three I had come to the conclusion it wasn't going to happen. My mom and I waked over to Disneyland to combine all my picture cards together before dinner and I was telling my mom I was bummed about it. As we were leaving the park my mom got excited and saw that Mickey was standing by the entrance taking pictures. YAY! I got my picture I wanted the whole trip.

We had such a great time and I can't wait to go back! Colton loved it and I will never forget how excited he was the whole time. I feel so lucky that we were able to take the time and go on such a great vacation and I am also so grateful for the great family I have. This vacation would not have been the same without them. The goal is to go again in two years and I really hope more of the family can come. Until then though Colton thinks Disneyland is closed and I will let him keep thinking that for the next two years otherwise he will ask to go everyday!
