T-Ball!!

Since Soccer was a bust I thought we would give T-ball a go. Ever since I found out I was having a boy I was dreaming of the moment he could play baseball! Since they were low on volunteers I decided to say yes and coach the team. HA! How funny was that! Some days it felt more like babysitting but it was actually a lot of fun! Colton liked it WAY better and he had a good time at every game. We had so much fun we signed up to do it again starting in July. He was lucky to have his good friend Oliver on the team with him. Those two boys are so darn cute!

Last Game, May 2012 with his trophy!
I was so proud of how much the team improved and how much Colton improved! The first week almost every kid had to hit off the tee, by the last game every single kid was doing coach pitch. Colton loved being out there and did good at cheering on all the other kids on his team. These are the moments when I LOVE being a mom!!

Arizona April 2012

Colton and I got to go down to Mesa Arizona for a week to visit my step sister Jenny and her family. My dad and Step mom recently purchased a winter home down there so we were lucky enough to get to stay with them and check their new house out. Here is our trip in pictures...

Phoenix Zoo

Justin was so very happy as you can tell!

I also had the opportunity to see my nephew Brandon perform in his last high school play. They did Into the Woods and it was amazing! I am constantly blown away at his talent! He graduated in May and is headed to BYU (much to my dismay) fully paid by multiple scholarships! I am very proud of him!

St. Patty's

Colton and I hosted a St. Patricks Day Party this year with some of our friends. The Workman family and the Drici Family came over along with Matt Cobb. We had a great dinner of corned beef and cabbage with a lot f different green foods to go along. Thanks to Jon for making supper yummy corned beef!!

Toy Story on Ice

It has become a yearly tradition to go to the Spring Disney on Ice with Aunt Karlee. This year it was Toy Story on Ice which Colton LOVED. It was actually pretty good and had some adult humor which I always appreciate. My camera was almost dead so I only took pictures of us, not any of the show. This was the beginning of March 2012

At Applebee's before getting on Trax

Yep, third row seats! They were great!

Go Jazz!

My cousin works for Larry H Miller Chevrolet. In February they had a meet Al Jefferson event so Colton and I along with our good friends Sara and Ollie headed on down there. We were totally unprepared and didn't take anything for him to sign but luckily they gave away little 4x6 cards with his picture on it. They also had a wheel that you could spin for prizes. Most the slots on the wheel were for hats, shirts or nothing but there was one slot for free tickets to a game. Wouldn't you know it, by complete luck both Oliver and Colton spun the wheel and got free tickets for a game! The best part is it was for a Miami Heat game! Although they were way up in the nose bleeds we didn't care! We were going to get to go to a game for free and see LeBron! Since the boy's won the tickets we decided to make it a mommy son date night. We went to dinner before and rode Trax down to ESA. The boys had so much fun!! YAY free stuff!

Soccer 2012

I decided to sign Colton up for indoor Soccer. Soccer is not necessarily a sport my family is very into and apparently that has been passed on to Colton. He liked it the first week and the last week and that was about it. He wasn't interested in actually kicking the ball and more wanted to just run around, play Buzz Lightyear, dance and distract the other kids on the court. It was HILARIOUS at times and frustrating at times. Even though it wasn't very enjoyable I would not let Colton quit and he was at every single game. The last game he was so excited because he knew it was the last one and kept telling his coach that. His coach was amazing and I was so grateful that Colton was able to be on his team. Although I think soccer was a one time thing, it was a good experience for Colton as it introduced him to a team setting.
